A meeting of the National Executive Committee of the ruling party All Progressive Congress which was scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday has been postponed indefinitely.
The Chairman of the APC Governor’s Forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu made the disclosure while addressing newsmen after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa.
The Kebbi governor said the NEC meeting will reconvene after crisis currently rocking the party has been resolved.
The decision to postpone the meeting is coming after the embittered and suspended chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomole suffered a set back at the cut of appeal where he had gone to set aside his suspension.
The court of appeal had deferred hearing on the matter.
However, the cancellation of Tuesday NEC meeting will give Oshiomole more time to salvage the situation.
