Following the directives of the Lagos state government that ban gathering of more than 50 people in one place, Daystar Christian Center has announced services are suspended in all its physical locations till further notice.
This was contained in a statement released by the church on its social media pages.
“Here is informing all members of Daystar Christian Centre and the general public that following the directive of Lagos State Government to restrict public gatherings of religious activities, from Saturday 21st of March 2020, we will not hold physical service at any of our locations.
“The Daystar experience will henceforth hold online till further notice.
May God’s wisdom guide us and His power protect us,” the statement reads.
The church also admonished the members not to be anxious but be prayerful.
“We must avoid anxiety at this time, but rather pray as the scriptures admonish us in Philippians 4:6-7. God’s peace will keep our heart as and minds. His wisdom will guide us and his power will preserve us. Let’s us also pray for God to give creative wisdom to leaders, scientists and researchers for solutions that will preserve lives”
Also, the Alimosho centre that was supposed to start tomorrow has also been postponed until further notice. Read the full statement below
