A driver has reportedly crashed the car he was driving as a result of wearing an N95 mask for too long which led to him passing out behind the wheel.
The unidentified Lincoln Park driver was lacking in oxygen, he was also getting too much of carbon dioxide.
According to authorities, the driver escaped the accident with non-life-threatening injuries.
However, New Jersey police have advised the public not to use a face mask when social distancing can be maintained, especially when alone.
The police also said using facemask for long hours may not be the only reason the man passed out.
They suspected underlying medical condition could have contributed to the incident.
