Lady Rejects N190k Job in Lagos Because She is Scared of Third Mainland Bridge

At a time when getting a good and lucrative job is hard, a young lady has reportedly turned down a 190k per month job offer over her phobia for the third mainland bridge.

This was shared by a Twitter user with username @lollypeezle who narrated how this young lady rejected a job on Lagos island because she is afraid of pass through the third mainland bridge.

According to @lollypeezle, the young lady thought she would be given a job at the company’s Mainland’s office but was disappointed that would not be possible as the Island branch is the only one functioning as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing the story, the Twitter user wrote;

“Apparently, the company is a reputable real estate company with offices on the mainland and island. She thought she would be given the role in the Mainland office but presently, due to covid-19, the company is only functioning at the island office….

“Madam said she can’t take the job. She’s scared of plenty water and Third Mainland Bridge. A staff even offered to be bringing her from Alapere where she stays, she didn’t accept. She said she has heard a lot about the bridge… a lot bii ti bawo? She no need job. 3mb phobia.”
