A yet to be identified middle-aged man has been found dead along Akachi road in Owerri-north local government area of Imo state southeast Nigeria.
Residents in the axis expressed shock to find the lifeless body of the young man by the roadside on Saturday
Though no one could ascertain his cause of death the injury around his neck hinted he might have been murdered.
Worried about the upsurge of killings in the state, the people, however, call on security agencies in to live up to expectation in the business of saving lives and properties.
When contacted the Imo police public relations officer SP Olando Ikeokwu said he was yet to be briefed on the matter as at the time of filing this report.
