Oyo Records One New COVID-19 Case

He appealed to residents to follow the directives of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force by washing their hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, regularly.

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has confirmed one new COVID-19 case in the state.

The governor said the COVID-19 confirmation test came back positive on Friday.

Makinde says a total of 453 tests have been conducted at the COVID-19 drive-through/walk-through testing centre at Adamasingba Stadium adding testing is still ongoing at the centre.

He appealed to residents to follow the directives of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force by washing their hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, regularly.

Makinde also enjoined the people to continue to maintain social distancing as gatherings in Oyo State are limited to a maximum of ten persons.
