The Lagos State Police Command has sued Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello for disobeying lockdown order in Lagos.
The actress had organised a birthday party to celebrate her husband’s birthday.
The Police Public Relation Officer, Bala Elkana confirmed this to The Punch.
The actress famous for her Comedy series Jenifa’s diary was taken to the Chief Magistrate Court in Ogba.
The couple was arraigned for floating te Lagos Infection Disease Regulation 2020 which prescribes a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both for persons found guilty of hosting gatherings or flouting the lockdown order.
